Danosa M.A.D. 4 is a high-density acoustic membrane made of modified bitumen, designed as an anti-resonance material to significantly improve sound insulation, especially in the low-frequency range. The membrane is reinforced with fiberglass fabric and has a double-sided polyethylene film coating, ensuring stability, durability, and easy integration into various acoustic systems.
Due to its higher mass, Danosa M.A.D. 4 provides higher efficiency compared to thinner membranes and is a reliable, eco-friendly alternative to lead sheets.
Danosa M.A.D. 4 is used to increase the sound insulation of walls, ceilings, and industrial structures, such as:
Anti-resonance layer between porous sound-absorbing materials, where it acts as a panel absorber with high efficiency at low frequencies
Intermediate layer between rigid elements (e.g., plasterboard) to improve insulation against low-frequency noise
Component in mass–spring–mass systems (in combination with mineral or rock wool) to significantly increase overall acoustic performance
Industrial applications – to provide additional acoustic mass and reduce resonances in metal structures
Type: Acoustic anti-resonance membrane
Material: Modified bitumen with fiberglass reinforcement
Coating: Double-sided polyethylene film
