Blackkote Gold is a universal water-based bitumen waterproofing paste designed for moisture protection and the bonding of insulation panels. It is suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces and provides a reliable waterproof barrier.
After drying, it forms a dense, glossy, and highly water-resistant film, resistant to standing water.
The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of loose particles. For highly porous surfaces, the prior application of a bitumen primer is recommended.
The product is applied by roller, brush, or airless spray. Two coats are recommended with a total consumption of approximately 2 kg/m².
Optionally, reinforcing fabric (POTENZIO TNT) can be embedded between the two layers.
Blackkote Gold is a thixotropic paste with easy application and good workability. It creates a waterproof membrane with high elasticity (up to 300% elongation), resistant to weathering and standing water.
The product is water-based, with low VOC content, and offers an economical solution without compromising waterproofing properties.
