Membrana GOLD FR is a single-component, ready-to-use, water-based liquid waterproofing membrane reinforced with polypropylene fibers. Thanks to its fiber-reinforced structure, the product provides increased mechanical strength, excellent load resistance, and the possibility of direct bonding of floorings without the need for additional reinforcing textile.
The membrane is UV resistant, resistant to stagnant water, and allows for the execution of walkable waterproofing with a minimum maintenance-free service life of at least 5 years.
It carries the CE marking.
The substrate must be clean, dry, and stable. For cement surfaces, a first coat of Membrana GOLD (fiber-free) diluted up to 35%, or the use of PRIMER C acrylic primer, is recommended.
Apply at least two cross-coats using a smooth trowel, brush, or rubber spatula, with a total consumption of at least 2 kg/m². Cross-application allows for optimal fiber distribution.
Wait at least 48 hours before bonding flooring (depending on temperature and humidity). A watertightness test is recommended before applying the finish. For tile bonding, use class C2 adhesives or higher according to EN 14891.
Membrana GOLD FR combines high elasticity and mechanical resistance thanks to the integrated polypropylene fibers. This allows for the creation of a strong and load-bearing coating without the need for additional textile reinforcement.
The membrane is resistant to UV rays and stagnant water, requires no protective layer, and allows for direct bonding of tiles and coatings. It provides good walkability and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for visible and exploited surfaces.
