REGUPOL products are regarded as engineering solutions with acoustic properties, developed as construction materials. They are tested with actually applied screed, rather than a prefabricated slab, which results in slightly lower but significantly more realistic decibel values. This is important when selecting a material and for the correct interpretation of technical specifications.

REGUFOAM hangers

REGUFOAM hangers are an optimal addition to suspended ceiling systems in timber frame buildings, providing a high level of sound insulation. They are particularly effective at reducing noise in the low-frequency range < 100 Hz, even without the use of a mass-increasing filler layer, allowing for a minimal structural height. A study shows that a suspended ceiling system with REGUFOAM hanger QH.F 220plus achieves values of Ln,w + CI50-2500 = 37 (+12) dB. In combination with the REGUPOL comfort S1 leveling layer and the REGUPOL comfort 12 sound insulation layer, even better results can be achieved – Ln,w + CI50-2500 = 29 (+11) dB.
