This factory-assembled 48 mm thick acoustic panel is designed for effective airborne noise insulation in wall structures, including drywall and CLT walls. The panel is engineered as a multi-layer system that combines mass, elasticity, and sound absorption to achieve high acoustic performance.
The core of the panel consists of an 8 mm layer of rubber granules from recycled end-of-life tires (ELTs) and EPDM rubber, with a density of 800 kg/m³, hot-pressed with a polyurethane binder. On both outer sides, there are two 20 mm thick layers of polyester fibers with a density of 60 kg/m³, which further enhance the sound-absorbing properties of the system.
Thanks to this balanced structure, the panel provides excellent sound insulation at a relatively low weight, making it suitable for renovations and lightweight wall systems where load is a critical factor.
The panel provides effective protection against airborne noise and significantly improves acoustic comfort within rooms. The combination of an elastic rubber layer and fiber panels allows for high acoustic performance with low surface mass. The solution is suitable for drywall and CLT walls, easy to install, and applicable to both new construction and renovations without the need for complex structural systems.
